People were asked: what did you get out of this book? What can be expected?
For a long time I’ve been looking for a simple book on how to put together a book and was finally able to do it with yours. In two weeks I put together 67 favorite family recipes that I have had in a box for 40 years. I filled in the extra spaces with humorous family stories and photos. I’m giving it out at Christmas. I’m so excited! .............Betty
I finished editing your Self Publishing book and I will send it to you today, even though I hate to let it leave our home office because it is so jam-packed filled with information that I want at my immediate disposal! Your book is so full of EXCELLENT information and advice, and is interspersed with so much of your magical personality that it is fun to read. This could be a dry book, but not with you writing it! For example, your story how you can have a "wasted day" taking all day to run off 4 books which should have taken 20 minutes was a day full of ultimate purpose. Your humor and humility and "mistakes" are such wonderful teaching tools that make the message sink in. Your book is about more than being a self-publisher. It is how to use your mistakes as lessons, how to be organized, how to win people over with cookies, etc. .......................Cleone
I was an editor for a big name publishing company for 14 years. Most publishers work on a eighteen month production cycle. This doesn’t even start till after all the haggling, paperwork and contracts are signed. I recommend Justin’s self publishing manual for doing it yourself fast and making far more money to boot.........Emily DeMoot
Justin Wizard sets before the reader a cornucopia of ways and ideas telling how to publish one’s one book. With humor - he is not afraid to point out the mistakes he has made - and with wisdom he leads the reader step by step, through the simplest to the most difficult procedures on self publishing. A must read for any author today................Kathleen, editor
After publishing informational reports for the last few years I can see how doing it your way will be easier, faster and far more profitable................Steven
I wish I had read your book as it would have presented an alternative to what I thought was the only way to publish my book in 1998. I still have 1914 unsold books in 38 cases all over my house. I sold or gave away only 86 books. I found 17 typos so far. I owe $6750+ on my Visa card. I was ready to quit and go back to my day job. Your book will be a lifesaver. I’m doing my next book with your system and I know I will make money for a change................ Tony
It’s amazing how much detailed innovative, how to information and care the
author puts into this book that is not found anywhere else. I love the way he
has found and evaluated sources and suppliers saving me literally days and many
dollars................ P.K.Smith
Today, I sold Harry's very first copy of his book that wasn't
even totally finished to a woman from Canada who wanted it so badly to read on
the plane tonight. It was just on display at the Seattle Center and not to be
sold, but the woman in charge gave me permission to sell it. Harry framed the
money! ................Harry’s sweetie
You are a real role model for the entrepreneurial spirit and I so love and appreciate that about you. I love the concept of "get them out there and keep perfecting them along the way, because if they have to be perfect the first time out, they may never get out there!" It is like a t-shirt I saw downtown yesterday. The caption read, "Waiting for the perfect man." The picture was one of a skeleton wearing a pretty hat sitting on a park bench. ..................Lyvonne
