* We own several Kauai weeks where the developer purchase price was $8400-12,000 and the Maintenance fees are between $500 and 700. Pretty sobering when the South Africa timeshares bring up the same exchanges that our higher priced weeks do. But we mostly just STAY at our Hawaii places and just trade with the SA timeshares. It might be fun to go to South Africa someday. But right now I consider SA timeshares to be "money in the bank."
