letters: We just came back from our first trip using the timeshare you sold us. We paid under $3000 and traded into a beautiful Gold Crown resort. My goodness where do we start in describing it? The rooms are oceanfront with an incredible view of the turquoise Caribbean. The pool is great as it winds through the property along the ocean. The pool wall is a dropoff to the turquoise Carribean waters, so it looks as though the pool is a continuation of the ocean. Large rooms, washer/dryer, nice full kitchen. It was the best.
We kept thinking it was all a dream. Everyone else staying there paid so much more than we
did so we kept our mouth shut and didn’t dare say anything. We wish we had bought a
timeshare from you years ago. It sounded so crazy buying in South Africa but it is working

TRAVEL HUMOR Actual Travel Agent stories: A man called, furious about a Florida package we did. I asked I just got off the phone with a man who asked, "How do I know A woman called to make reservations, "I want to go from Chicago to Hippopotamus, New York." The agent was at a loss for words. Finally, the agent asked, "Are you sure that's the name of the town?" "Yes, what flights do you have?" replied the customer. After some searching, the agent came back with, "I'm sorry, ma'am, I've looked up every airport code in the country and can't find a Hippopotamus anywhere." The customer retorted, "Oh don't be silly. Everyone knows where it is. Check your map!" The agent scoured a map of the state of New York and finally offered, "You |don't mean Buffalo, do you?" She replied, "That's it! I knew it was a big animal!" |
