FLY FREE! ...if you have initiative!

Wouldn’t you love to be able to fly to Florida when you are tired of the cold - and for free? How about New Orleans for a walk down Bourbon Street? Visit your family in Washington State? Ski in Vermont? Orlando? Las Vegas for non-stop action or take a closer look at your new sure thing Internet girlfriend?

I used to have a regular Visa card for years and got nothing but the bill. In April 1999 I switched to a special mileage credit card and have already earned enough for many free round trips. It wasn’t hard! I’ll show you exactly how to do it too.

I used these free tickets all the time. A friend said "come visit me for my birthday." They made a very appealing offer so I phoned for flights - WV > to east coast state, short notice $952! Ouch!

I then called my mileage awards account and had a FREE flight ticket confirmation within 10 minutes. Sweet!

I discovered the best mileage card
Several credit cards are available that offer mileage points. The secret is to find which card offers the most big bonus point opportunities coupled with the least amount of points needed for a free trip.

Many other mileage cards may give you 3000-5000 points for signing up but then you have to spend dollars to get enough points for your trip. With my favorite card you can use frequent bonus point offers.

My favorite card is the United Mileage First USA Plus Card. These cards do cost somewhat more but is well worth the $60 yearly fee to get all the benefits. Other cards don’t offer nearly as many rich bonuses.

Now I have a few people that stop right here - $60 ack! "I get my Visa card for free - always have!" Yes, but you also don't get anything! If I came up to you and said ya wanna buy a round trip airline ticket good anywhere in the USA for $100 you would figure it was too good to be true. You would jump on it. Now if I said would you sign up for a mileage card and get your first ticket for well under $100 and future ones for free would you do it? Just change your perceptions. Don't outfox yourself. Don't think life has to be so tough. I signed up for this mileage program years ago and just love it. Can you get unstuck?

Some people are go getters and will sign up for this 10 minutes from now. Some people can't see the "good opportunity light" flashing in their face. I can send them 10 reminder emails and still nothing stirs them. And they complain life is so difficult. Those people we have to pass by at the side of the road.

I have people say "I hate credit card bills - don't want a credit card."
I know of a nice lady that spends carefully for the week making mileage Visa purchases then calls in a payment for the purchases for that week. Always back to a zero balance.

I love to travel and find ways to earn even more trips each year.

I really enjoy having this First USA who has been superb in assisting me with special requests, removing late charges (oops!), etc. I can make my payments electronically in 4 minutes by phone at no extra charge. I sometimes call several times a month as I don't like a balance. Get their card and feel pampered.

Have crummy credit? They may accept cosigners if they use this card also. Cosigners may be removed after one year of on-time payments.

Maximize it
Here are some tips to increase your mileage points.
The goal: Get 25,000 points and earn a FREE USA roundtrip. (35,000 points for Hawaii.)(60,000 for Australia)

If you are going to spend money you might as well get rewarded. Earn 1 point for every $1 you charge in purchases. Make a list of where your money goes. Can you pay with your Visa? Use the mileage card for personal expenses; food, gas, electric bill, trips, video rentals, doctors, repairs, printing services, newspaper, church donations, phone bill, books, clothing and Internet purchases. Put friends and families purchases on your credit card. If you don’t like to have a balance, dump a check in advance so you are spending off a credit balance.

My business used to spend $25,000 a month with suppliers that I could have put on mileage credit cards while receiving a free round-trip USA trip every month! Ah, ignorance is costly! Ask and entice your suppliers to accept credit cards.

I know someone that started an Ebay business for the main purpose of being able to buy and sell many products using her mileage card.

Another fellow started buying and building greenhouses for people so he could charge the building supplies on his mileage card.

How to get started
1. First join the free airline flyers program. Apply by phone for the United Airlines Frequent Flyer program at (800) 421-4655. It’s free and quick. Become eligible for all specials.

2. Call First USA Card at (877) 273-7138 to apply for the United Airlines Mileage Plus Visa credit card. Request the "Member-get-a-Member" program getting yourself 20,000 points with your first purchase offer. Verify this or don’t continue. You also get a $25 discount travel certificate and a one class upgrade certificate.

The First Card operator should ask, if not tell them you were recommended by Justin Wizard #006-5271-7888. If you can graciously help the generous author with a no-cost-to-you referral he can help you even more by sending you free updated bonus point opportunities and great ideas.

Do this now before the offer goes back down to 5,000 points like many other mileage programs

Many people have earned enough for a free roundtrip with 60-90 days and keep on earning them. They love this mileage program.

First Card is open 24 hours a day. Try calling during non peak times or weekends for the fastest service. It only takes about 8 minutes to give them your information.

The Visa Gold Plus account benefits:
Get $2 for every dollar spent on United airline tickets.

$1,000,000 accidental air, bus, cruise public travel insurance if entire charge was on member Visa card.

Rent-a-car damage or theft car insurance if charged on your Visa card and the rental car insurance is declined. Don't pay $18 a day car rental insurance anymore.

Travel assistance, ticket replacement, trip and emergency transportation.

If your trip is delayed over 12 hours from equipment failure, bad weather, hijack or strike they will give you up to $300 for accommodations if you get a confirming letter from the airline.

Emergency cash / card replacement.

Product warranty extension - add one extra year free. Did you just buy a printer with a 2 year warranty? (or anything with a warranty?) Call FirstUSA and they will send you the forms to get one extra year at no extra charge.

Property protection with a maximum of $500 per claim, covering vandalism, theft, water damage, or fire within the first 90 days of purchase. Just bought an MP3 player and it got swiped or damaged? They will replace it free if bought with your FirstUSA card. Check with them for the most current details.

Lost or damaged luggage service up to $3000, when going by bus, air, cruise if paid with this card.
