ITRC
INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH CENTER
Chloe, WV

We focus towards those people tired of the big mortgage, endless utility bills and wondering if they could ever get free of the boring drudgery of a work - TV - sleep - repeat  cycle? Could they live in a fun, interesting house that didn't cost much to create or live in? Be mortgage and debt free? Automate much of the daily work? Spend their time doing happy creative projects?

We are doing and creating it and want to show you how. We thank the many people that have made it possible.

Justin is the caretaker of this pretty place and is helping it grow day by day.

I checked into getting a grant using innovative energy technology. This house has almost most no bills. No gas, electric or water bill ever. NO garbage bill. No septic needed. No shingles on the roof.  Warm in winter, cool in summer. They said no, the house was too innovative, too progressive, too unusual, no grant money available, but they sure would like to come over and look at it. Someone will be the exception and help us as thoughtful donations make things happen faster.

This is how my brother thinks my house will turn out. Dumb photo

ELECTRICITY
Simple cheap SOLAR powered electricity

We will be using only four 120 watt solar panels and 4 deep cell 6v golf cart batteries to store all the juice they make. The whole package for free future electricity / no utility bills is under $3000. If other homes lose their power, this house will be unaffected. Totally self contained electricity.

Solar links and actual stories

Generator/power center
We just got a generator to charge the batteries only if it has been cloudy or rainy for more than 5 days and to run occasional heavy wattage items like a washing machine. We are fortunate here in WV to have many gas wells and we get free natural gas as it seems we have a gas well up them thar hills. In the future we will try converting the gas generator to free natural gas.

Some places try and sell you a really big mega watt generator that uses lots of fuel. Have a house system that doesn't require much power to operate.

Help! We are looking for assistance in doing wireless electricity. Telsa did it, others did it. Can you help? Click HERE

Refrigerator
We will be using a new Serval natural gas refrigerator. ($1200) They run forever and getting West Virginia free gas is even better. When the electricity goes out we don't lose our frozen contents. People in cities are so vulnerable to losing all their refrigerators contents when the electricity goes out. Go gas and be safe.

A request:
I would also like to put in a request asking major appliance manufacturers to start making large, nice natural gas refrigerators. (Small, expensive propane RV refrigerators don't count - half the size - twice the price) Houses are already plumbed for it. People have gas stoves, but manufacturers think no one will buy a gas refrigerator. "It isn't even on the list" they say. With all the power outages I think gas would be the preferred choice in a new refrigerator. With not one manufacturer doing this some company would have a marketing edge.
